One of the most influential moments in c64 history if you were to ask me. I tought myself assembly code at 13 by staring at Gollum's coding for days on-end and trying to reverse engineer and figure out what he did, which gave me a lifetime's worth of analytical problem solving skills.

I remember one of the first intro I saw a great use of rasters which given the impression that the border has been removed (but I think this was too early in time to have discover the trick to put sprites within the border). The design and music is simple but effective and the re-use of that intro in so many release become one of the classic.. especially back in 1988 and 1989... where there was a tons of intros with not that great design-colors. Only few back them stood up to have a great-design... (the eagle one too).

I just don't understand the hype about this intro. People seem to love it. I always thought it was dull and boring. To each their own, I guess.
